Orkut has finally decided to roll out third party social applications to orkut users. Orkut had opened to developers some time back and the applications created were accessible only in orkut sandbox profiles.
Amar Gandhi, orkut Group Product Manager on monday 11, 2008 announced the move to enable developers to make their social applications available to orkut users.
So if you have created an orkut application and if you wish to see it on orkut then you must fill this form to Submit Your Application to the Orkut Directory and that too in a hurry because they have set 15th of feb, 2008 as the deadline for the developers to submit their completed applications.
They are also offering engineering support and training at Orkut Hackathons to help developers ready their applications. For those who cannot attend, you can get adequate support and help from the guys over at OpenSocial Developer Forum
