Orkut Application Submitters Allowed to Place Google Ads in Their Application Page?

I was going though some new orkut applications and observed the page heavily doped with google ads. Looks like Google has finally decided to make use of Orkut ‘The Google Way’? Or is there a twist in the tale?

You will also observe a Google Custom Search Engine which gives an awkward look because there are two search engines on one page.

Just out of curiosity, and not so professional search engine placement, What do you think is the probability of orkut allowing orkut application submitters placing ads alongside their applications? High! Dont you think so?

On further study, you can confirm that these ads belong to the application submitter since the ‘custom’ search engine belongs to the application owner.

Since orkut passed such applications to be listed on their featured apps page, it should be concluded that application submitters are indeed allowed to place ads on their application pages.
