Damn! Google has started displaying orkut profiles in google search. Though google introduced this option long back. but i am seeing this feature in action now. You can also enable or disable listing of your orkut profile in Google search results via search settings in your edit profile page. So start ego surfing now.
» What’s the Twist?
- The profile search is only visible to logged in users.
- The search does not show the same ‘orkut results’ when i am logged in from my other profile – What’s Cooking?
» What’s Cool?
- When I search Google, google search displays my profile
» Note
The rest of the search results have been edited to exclude not-required contents. You can see the complete search result here.
Update – I just figured out why orkut results were not shown on my other profile. Refresh the page twice and make sure you are logged in to your orkut accounts.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Are they in the process of enabling it on all the profiles? Because i dont see my profile listed in google searches…
I saw this a couple of weeks back and even posted it… and one more thing this feature was only visible on Firefox, and not on IE or Opera. Also it features only iff you are signed into orkut at that time. Means they are not public.
:O why is my post highlighted in grey?
