I came across this post by Siddharth who feels ‘Orkut Is Making Us All Immortal’. I am posting it here because after i read his opinion, I felt it was so true and entirely a different prospective on how one sees orkut. I am sure you guys would find it interesting while some will find it weird.
Well well well….I dont have to write even a word about orkut….I dont think that anyone reading this blog will not have heard about the “greatest phenomenon” of the 21st century…..Rather I want to delve deep into the seemingly innocent fact that we all are actually becoming immortal through Orkut..ya..even after our bodies have disappeared from the face of the earth(Souls…I have heard that these are immortal)…….we wont have disappeared from the face of Orkut…cool isnt it…..The purists may argue….What is the use of such an existence?….to hell with them…how good it is when your thoughts, likes and dislikes remain alive even after you are dead….or that those who knew you in your life would just need to visit your profile when they would remember you…Just contemplate on this,my fellow earthlings and you will realise the truth in my sayings…
Hey! That’s one cool interpretation. What do you guys think of orkut? Is it Interesting? Share With Us.

What’s the point to be immortal?
There is “thanks God” really good writers and so on that worthy to be read and keep on being immortal not because of their profile but because of their oeuvre.
But, anyway, it seems to be a good point! The point of view of the data.
Well it was really a nice post good job
What is the use of such an existence?
Just think 100 years from now, your Grandchildren can check your Orkut Profile to see what you liked and disliked… What you thought and talked about with your Friends.
Just think about your favourite Bolywood Star, Politician, Leader etc.. their orkut Profiles might become a Source of Information for the future History books.
Just give a thought on this My friends and you will realise the truth in this Post. What do you think ?

You can still receive mail if your address is dormant, but you need to log in to keep your account active.
If you don’t log in to Gmail within three months of it being labeled dormant — or for nine consecutive months — Google may delete the address.
”
So in nine months, the account leaves the face of (Internet)
