A couple faced one of the most traumaful period when Mrs Thomas, a pregnant lady started getting calls from Qatar, UAE. She was shocked to learn that her picture, contact numbers and other details were all posted on an orkut profile without her consent.

“It was terrible as I used to receive several calls in the night from men from Qatar, Dubai asking for sex. I was pregnant it was tough for my husband to go through this situation. My pictures were posted with my husband’s details as my pimp,” the wife said.

“We were scared to step outside our home fearing public ridicule. We also decided to commit suicide as there was no end to this ongoing harassment for us. He destroyed our family and circle of friends,” Mrs. Thomas said. – read more

Finally, their once friend and neighbour was sentenced to one year jail by Bahrain Court but he fled to India where search to nab him is till on.
