If you guys remember, i promised you all to host this script which became quite popular when i posted about it a couple of months back. So fulfilling that promise and with the wish of the script owner – Orkuteer Prashant, I announce the next tool in our Orkut Toolkit – Read Mail.
If you are new to Orkut Plus! then you probably don’t not know much about Read Mail. Let me brief you on that.
Readmail is a free service which provides you with a code which when posted as a scrap in your scrapbook will notify or alert you whenever someone visits your scrapbook via email. We we will be also incorporating some new little options namely – Tracking Operating System Platform and browser of the scrapbook viewer.
This code can also be used for tracking your emails and getting notified when it has been read and getting information like IP address of the person who reads your email. (And also browser and OS information after the next update.
- Navigate to Read Mail Tool Page
- In the first option, enter the email address you’ll like to recieve alerts on.
- In the second option, enter the desired Subject (you may wanna direct all alerts to a specified folder using mail filter options)
- In the third step choose what detail you want to recieve like IP Address. (Browser Info or Operating System coming soon!)
- Choose the Generate option.
- Now, you’ll be taken to the next page where you’ll get a code.
- Embed this code in your scrapbook.
- Now whenever anyone will visit your scrapbook, you will get an email with the selected details.

wow this script is really good but i think its of no use bcoz we cant do anything with the ip address but its like magic
but is there any website which can give u info about the particular persons location using an IP adress

i tried to embed code in my scrapbook bt it is not embedding in my scrapbook and showing this
“The content you’re posting looks like spam, so it’s being sent to the recipient’s spam folder”
plz help me out.
@vicky – looks like orkut has categorized Orkut Plus! as spam. We’ll do something to get over it.

@Luis – Just delete the scrap with the embed code.
but is it required that the embeded code has to be on the very first page of the scrapbook, becoz initially it was working fine for me but as the scrap went to the next page of my scrapbook it stopped working, looks like the embbeded code has to be on the first page,

hey its working but in my email id i get only d internet ip address…i cant able 2 make out who has visited my scrapbuk…i dnt d name f d person nor email id…so i request u to plzz remake it nd provide dat it give d name f d person wid email id who has visited d scrapbuk…so we can know who has really visited it…oderwise with only getting internet ip address it f no use…
