I was just browsing my privacy settings on orkut and came across this very useful update by orkut. This privacy setting will not only keep you away from scammers but also prevent your profile against unwanted mass add friend requests.
Implementing this Privacy Tip
- Navigate to the settings page in your orkut profile.
- There, navigate to the Privacy tab. (see screenshot)
- In the last setting, see ‘Allow people to find me through my email address’ option.
- Choose ‘Dont Allow’ option.
- Save and Done..
